Having run 7 different multi day stage races over the last 5 years I have decided to blog my training leading up to the hardest - and hopefully funnest - race to date.....I will be running the length of France. The race is called Transe Gaule
Transegaule 2014
The race starts on the Brittany coast in Roscoff on August 12 and finishes by the Mediterranean Sea in Gruissan Plage on August 30. 19 days running, 1192 k.
So I 'built' this blog back in January...it is now May and it appears I am not so good with updating the blog.
A Readers Digest of the past 4 months of training.
108.5 miles January
133.5 miles Feb
191.0 miles March
165.0 miles April
100.0 May to date miles..
I am beginning to think I need more miles. But as Russ keeps telling me, keeping uninjured is the goal.
To arrive at day 1 with no injuries will most likely get me through better than mega miles in training.
Let's hope he is right.
